This website serves as a centralized repository for information regarding the Våbentypen series of stamps. Our aim is to make existing knowledge about these stamp varieties readily accessible in one place. The content primarily consists of articles previously published in various philatelic journals and formerly hosted on the Våbentypen study group’s website.
Unlike the earlier study group website, we do not feature specific listings of matrix types, cliche errors, or plating details. For this type of information, we recommend TOFDATA, which is available for download from De Tofarvedes hjemmeside (The Two-Colored’s website). Although it is an older DOS program, users may require some time to get it running. It functions without issues on Windows 11.
